Providence Place Assisted Living Center in Woodward, OK  (2007)

 

   
Providence Place Assisted Living Center in Woodward, OK has 48 geothermal heating and cooling units that are 2-1/2 to 5 tons each. In addition to conditioning the common areas and apartments, geothermal is also used to run the refrigerator and freezer. This picture shows some of the "tails" sticking out of holes that the loops have already been put down. These holes were drilled at 185 feet deep. The wells are located on all four sides of the building and are now covered by the parking lots & drive ways.    
         
   

 

Ray still gets on the back of the rig to get the job done! On a cold day during the winter of 2006, Ray was drilling part of the 146 bores for the geothermal ground loop.

This picture shows a similar view as the first picture, so you can see that it is possible to put ground loops under sidewalks and parking areas as well as in the yard.

  The First Christian Church in Woodward Oklahoma has converted part of their building to Geothermal.

       Greenbriar Assisted Living Center of Enid, OK  (1994)
       
  Greenbriar Assisted Living Center has 23,475' of vertical bore and 105 tons of heating and cooling equipment. In addition to Greenbriar Assisted Living Center, Geothermal systems for Geothermal systems for Greenbriar Skilled Greenbriar Skilled Nursing Center with 6,400' of Vertical bore and 32 tons of heating & cooling as well as the Greenbriar Village which has 2,000' of vertical bore and 10 tons. These jobs were all comleted between 1994 and 1998.  
 
       First United Methodist Church of Woodward, OK  (1998)
       
  The First United Methodist Church in Woodward, OK was built in 1998 and Fire & Ice installed the Geothermal Heating & Cooling System during construction.  
       
  The Fellowship hall and the kitchen as well as classrooms are also conditioned with Geothermal systems.  
       
  The Geothermal systems for the First United Methodist Church take care of the entire building including this beautiful sanctuary.  
 
       Golden Oaks Retirement Village in Enid, OK (2004)
  This picture shows the new 5 story building at Golden Oaks Retirement Village. So far the first, second and third floors have been completed and are all conditioned with Geothermal systems. The fourth and fifth floors are scheduled to begin construction soon and will also be conditioned with Geothermal systems.  
       
  This amazing view is in the atrium that was built to enclose the area between the old building and the new building. Again, Geothermal systems keep the area comfortable year round. You can see the exposed ductwork painted in blue near the skylight. The guys installing that duct on the skylift had to be brave going up 5 stories!!  
 
       New Hope Methodist Church in Enid, OK (2003)
  New Hope Methodist Church was constructed in 2003 and chose Fire & Ice to install their Geothermal heating & cooling systems. The condition their entire building with Geothermal as well.  
 
       Northwestern Electric in Woodward, OK (1998)
  Northwestern Electric installed Geothermal heating and cooling in 1998. They used the existing ductwork as it was not damaged in any way. Fire & Ice installed Geothermal heating and cooling in the Woodward office and warehouse as well as the Buffalo office.  
 
       Arda Building in Woodward, OK (1990)
  We installed Geothermal heating & cooling in the Arda Building in Woodward during 1990.
